Kulldeep Sandhu (born April 9, 1978) is a renowned Punjabi composer, singer, and music producer known for his diverse music styles, including Punjabi folk and Indian classical music. Over his career, he has composed and produced numerous songs across various genres, working with some of India's most prominent singers and artists.[1]
Early Life and Career[edit | edit source]
Kulldeep Sandhu began his musical journey at a young age by playing the Tabla. His passion for music grew, leading him to become a successful music composer and producer by the age of 30. Over the years, Sandhu developed his reputation for producing high-quality music, particularly in Punjabi Folk and Indian classical genres.[2]
Musical Career[edit | edit source]
As a music director, Kulldeep Sandhu has composed music for over more than 500 songs in the past eight years. His popular compositions include Mehsoos, Maati, Sai Mahima, Wahe Guru, Tu Meri, Chitta, Dress Up, and Narrow Teri Jeans (featuring AB Rockstar and Khushbu Sandhu). His work spans various music companies such as Ambey, Tips, HMV, Venus, and Jai Maa Films.
Sandhu is particularly well-known for his Bhakti songs, including Bhole Ki Saran Men, Shiv Mahima, and Shiv Om Namah, which are widely played during the Kanwar Yatra in India. He has recorded songs in some of India's most reputed studios, including T-Series, Venus, Sony India, and JMF. In recent years, he established his own high-tech music studio, "Angel Beats," in Delhi, which has become a preferred destination for artists due to its advanced technology and facilities.[3]

Sandhu has collaborated with many well-known Indian singers, including Anuradha Paudwal, Suresh Wadkar, Daler Mehndi, Kamal Khan, and Harbhajan Maan. His compositions have also been featured in projects for well-known clients such as Maruti Suzuki, Zee, Samsung, Live India, and Amity International.[4]

In addition to his work as a composer and producer, Kulldeep Sandhu is also a talented singer. His songs, such as Selfie and Dhol Bajda, have showcased his vocal prowess and earned him recognition as a singer.
Personal Life[edit | edit source]
Kulldeep Sandhu is married to Avneet Kaur, and together they have two daughters, Komaldeep Sandhu and Angeldeep Sandhu. Throughout his musical journey, Sandhu has been supported by several artists and collaborators, including TJ Sandhu, lyricists Dinesh Deepak, GR Kant, Ravi Chopra, and Smukhtiar.
