Curator

A curator (from the Latin cura, which means "to take care") is a person who manages or supervises a project. In the context of cultural institutions, a curator is often referred to as a "collections curator" or a "exhibitions curator," and they have a wide range of responsibilities that vary depending on the institution and its objective. Throughout recent years, the job of the curator has developed in tandem with the changing role of museums, and the word "curator" may refer to the head of any particular section. Recent years have seen the emergence of a variety of different types of curators including "community curators," "literary curators," "digital curators," and "biocurators."
