Gurmeet Singh was born in Faridabad, Haryana to a gazetted officer, DS Sachdeva, who served as an executive engineer (XEN) with the electrical board. Singh grew up in Panipat and initially pursued engineering. He completed his BTech in Computers from the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Delhi, and later an MBA from Symbiosis International University. Singh eventually transitioned to law, earning his LLB from Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut.
Singh was deeply inspired by the legendary Indian lawyer Ram Jethmalani, and his passion for legal advocacy led him to found Singh Legal Associates in Sonipat.
