Magizhan began his music career by producing for local Tamil artists, including rappers SujeethG, Ramesh, and Jamthugz. His breakthrough came in 2007 with the release of the single "Viduthalai," a collaboration with SujeethG that resonated with the Tamil diaspora, particularly in its themes of freedom and resistance.
In 2020, Magizhan released the album Neelapiraiye, which included collaborations with well-known Tamil poets such as Kutti Revathi, Uma Devi, and diaspora poets Nitha and Amsavalli.
